Linking an Event to Facebook

To connect an event to your Facebook profile, launch EventBooth Admin and open the "Event Detail" page for the event.

 

Under "Manage Social Profiles," click on the switch next to "Link to Facebook”.

If you're not logged into Facebook, a pop-up window will open and ask you to login to your Facebook account.

Once you're logged in, Facebook will ask you to grant EventBooth permission to post to your Facebook page. Click "Okay".

If you're an Administrator of a Facebook Page you want to use with EventBooth, grant EventBooth permission to manage your Facebook Pages.

The pop-up window should close. You'll be taken back to the "Event Details" page in EventBooth Admin.

If you're the administrator of more than one Facebook Page, you can use the "Posting To" drop-down menu to select the profile or page you want your event to be connected to.

To automatically share your photos as they're taken with the EventBooth iOS app, click on the Auto Post switch. If the switch is turned to "On," the photo will automatically upload after it's taken. If the switch is turned to "Off," the photo will not be posted automatically.

Depending on the plan type you signed up for, you can also edit the Status Message that will be posted along with the Event Photo.
